We are a set comprising 61 barristers (including 11 KCs) and a highly regarded clerking, administrative, and reception team of 11.
Our barristers frequently appear in high-profile and legally important cases, with 31 of them currently individually recommended in the two main legal directories.
Reflecting our commitment to non-court based means of dispute resolution, 39 members of chambers offer an early neutral evaluation/private FDR service, 17 are qualified finance and/or children IFLA family law arbitrators, 13 are trained collaborative lawyers, and eight are accredited mediators.
Many members of chambers have authored or contributed to practitioner textbooks, and regularly lecture and write articles in print and online about family law topics.
Several former members have taken judicial appointments, including two to the High Court in the last seven years (Nicholas Francis and Robert Peel). Many current members sit as deputy High Court judges, Recorders or deputy district judges.
We have eight full-time clerks (including a dedicated fees clerk), a specialist chambers administrator, two receptionists and staff responsible for marketing and catering.
The strength and breadth of this team allows us to provide the modern, professional, and focused service that our professional and lay clients rightly expect.
The clerks’ room is staffed between 8.30am and 6.30pm Mondays - Fridays, but emergency contact is always available outside that time and at weekends.
