We are a set comprising 60 barristers (including 11 QCs) and a highly-regarded clerking and administrative team of 16. Our barristers frequently appear in high-profile and legally important cases, and 31 of them are currently individually recommended in the main legal directories.
Reflecting our commitment to non-court based means of dispute resolution, 14 members of chambers are trained collaborative lawyers, seven practise as mediators, ten are qualified family law arbitrators, and four of our silks and seven juniors offer an early neutral evaluation/private FDR service.
Many members of chambers have authored or contributed to practitioner textbooks, and regularly lecture and write articles about family law topics. Several former members have taken judicial appointments, and many current members sit as deputy High Court judges, Recorders or deputy district judges.
We have 10 full-time clerks (including a dedicated fees clerk), a specialist chambers administrator, two receptionists and staff responsible for marketing and catering. The strength and breadth of that team allows us to provide the modern, professional and focused service that our clients rightly expect. The clerks’ room is staffed between 8.30am and 6.30pm, but emergency contact is always available outside that time and at weekends.
